Woodstock Festival in Poland is a huge free summer music festival held the beginning of August in Kostrzyn nad Odrą.The Festival is organized by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation to acknowledge all volunteers and supporters who take part in the annual Grand Finale fundraiser in January. Woodstock Festival Poland is a non-commercial event offering free admittance. The money needed to make festival possible comes from sponsors and are gathered all year through. The money coming from the annual charity fundraiser is spent solely on medical equipment for Polish public hospitals. Every year, Woodstock Festival features a few dozen great bands both from Poland and from all over the world.The Police and other professional services unanimously agree that despite its size, Woodstock Festival Poland is one of the safest public events in the country. The Festival has received International Music Industry Award at the MUSEXPO 2015 in Los Angeles. Despite all of this, the thing what makes this festival really unique ... is that people of all ages, cultures, nationalities, religion, believs or approach to life in these three days, they combines to each other in unrestricted, crazy positive... state of mind.
